Monmouth County Republican Party Reveals its Candidates for LD-11

The Monmouth County Republican Party has recently revealed its candidates for the upcoming election in the 11th Legislative District (LD-11). The district includes parts of Monmouth County, including towns such as Freehold, Howell, and Wall. The Republican Party has chosen two candidates to represent them in the race for the two available seats in the New Jersey General Assembly.

The first candidate is Robert Acerra, a former Wall Township councilman and current member of the Monmouth County Board of Elections. Acerra has a background in business and finance, having worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. He has also been involved in local politics for many years, serving on the Wall Township Planning Board and the Wall Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Acerra is running on a platform of fiscal responsibility and economic growth. He believes that New Jersey’s high taxes and regulations are driving businesses and residents out of the state, and he wants to work to make New Jersey more business-friendly. He also wants to focus on reducing government waste and improving infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and public transportation.

The second candidate is Michael Amoroso, a former Howell Township mayor and current member of the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders. Amoroso has a background in law enforcement, having served as a police officer in Howell Township for over 20 years. He has also been involved in local politics for many years, serving on the Howell Township Council and as mayor from 2010 to 2011.

Amoroso is running on a platform of public safety and education. He believes that New Jersey needs to do more to support law enforcement and keep communities safe. He also wants to focus on improving education, including expanding school choice options and increasing funding for vocational and technical education.

Both Acerra and Amoroso have expressed their commitment to working together to represent the interests of LD-11 residents in Trenton. They believe that their combined experience in business, finance, law enforcement, and local government make them well-suited to tackle the challenges facing New Jersey.

The Monmouth County Republican Party is optimistic about its chances in LD-11, which has historically been a Republican-leaning district. However, recent demographic changes have made the district more competitive, and Democrats are expected to mount a strong challenge in the upcoming election.

Regardless of the outcome, the Monmouth County Republican Party is confident that its candidates will provide a strong voice for LD-11 residents in Trenton. They believe that Acerra and Amoroso have the experience, knowledge, and dedication needed to make a positive impact on New Jersey’s future.
