Storm Wyche appointed as Executive Director by HCDO Chair Guy

Hudson County Democratic Organization (HCDO) Chairman Craig Guy is delighted to announce the hiring of Storm Wyche as the full-time Executive Director of the HCDO. When elected Chair last month, Guy promised a greater emphasis and investment into voter education and engagement, and he sees a full-time Executive Director as a first step toward realizing this promise.

 

Storm is a veteran operative who has more than ten years of experience in New Jersey Democratic politics. A long-time champion for labor and women’s rights, she has extensive experience in grassroots organizing and issue advocacy. Her professional experience includes EMILYs List and several state, local, and federal campaigns, including the campaigns of U.S. Senator Cory Booker, U.S. Representative Josh Gottheimer, N.J. Governor Phil Murphy, and Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco. Storm has also served as a member of the boards of the non-profit We the People: Embrace, Empower, Engage, as well as  the Young Democrats of Bergen County.

 

“We are revamping and rededicating ourselves to do the grassroots work needed to engage and energize voters,” said Guy. “This is about invigorating  our diverse constituencies and committee people in a meaningful way. Organization is about people and results, and bringing on  Storm is about putting our money where our mouth is to invest in outreach and our communities.
