New Jersey rock and roll legend Bruce Springsteen took to the stage in Clarkston yesterday and strongly spoke up and spoke out in support of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for president and vice president respectively.

Home to 16 electoral votes, Georgia stands to again play a vital role in the 2024 election.
Trump tried to bully Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger here in 2020 to reverse the outcome and give him the victory after Joe Biden beat him in the Peach State. Raffensberger refused to comply. On August 14, 2023, a grand jury indicted Trump and 18 of his allies on violations of 16 Georgia statutes. These charges include violations of Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO. According to the 98-page indictment, Trump and his allies attempted to undermine the will of the American people in an effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Even after recounts and litigation confirmed that Biden won Georgia, Trump and his allies pressured officials to overturn the election results to keep him in the White House.
Trump faces felony racketeering counts in Georgia, where early voting shows a tight contest.
Said Springsteen: “I want a president who reveres the Constitution, who does not threaten but wants to protect and guide our great democracy, who believes in the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power, who will fight for a woman’s right to choose, and who wants to create a middle-class economy that serves all our citizens. There is only one candidate who holds all those principles dear, and that’s Kamala Harris.”
