Founder Alex Zdan said he is pleased to announce the formation of Authentic Leadership for America – the ALFA PAC. Authentic Leadership for America will educate, energize and expand voter support for the principles of maximum liberty and individual freedom.
ALFA PAC is a hybrid political action committee dedicated to empowering voter engagement, developing innovative messaging strategies for conservatives, and endorsing candidates who embody the ALFA principles of agility, accountability and achievement. It will identify and elevate candidates that fit the ALFA paradigm of authentic leadership, power their efforts with unique and strategic messaging and drive voter action.
“Authentic leadership is the antidote to the poison in our politics,” said founder Alex Zdan, a journalist and GOP strategist who sought the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate this year. “Our political system has been built around incentivizing behavior that moves candidates away from being their authentic selves and lends itself to policies that fail regular people. “At ALFA PAC, we believe authentic, principled leadership is the cornerstone of a robust democracy,” said Zdan. “When I see the deep inauthenticity of Kamala Harris and Phil Murphy’s Democratic party, I know voters are hungry for authentic leadership this year more than any other.”
The hybrid nature of the PAC will allow it to operate throughout the state in races at every level of government and lead toward a unified future for the Republican party in New Jersey.
The PAC will hold a pre-launch, private fundraiser in Red Bank on August 15, and other events throughout the fall campaign.
The first ALFA-endorsed candidate is Middletown Mayor Tony Perry – a uniquely responsive, diligent young mayor. Perry has racked up an impressive record during his six years in office – stepping in where Middletown’s most notorious resident, Gov. Phil Murphy, has failed on issues from transit fee hikes to covid restrictions.
